On this solemn day of Good Friday we take hope in the darkest hour of our faith: Jesus dying on the Cross for our sins. He suffered for us so that we could all become part of the everlasting life. Let us take this hope of suffering and in knowing that the culmination of the journey does not end in suffering , but in glorious resurrection!
Our Traditions are also what hold our communities together, the Via Crucis in Pilsen with its end point in St. Adalbert is one such tradition. The church holds all who come to see Jesus being laid out on the tomb, young and old are together. The older generation seeking to impart to their young the sanctity of these special moments in our Catholic faith. We hope to continue this tradition for all our future generations.
